Within the Suspension Systems business line, the available products range from the single component (swinging arms, crossbars, axles, struts, discs and brake drums) to assembled modules (wheel groups, semi-corner). A structured design and testing department is able to meet any kind of technical demand from clients, with the possibility of development from component specifications or as a refinement in relation to an existing design; in addition,with the Shock Absorber line it realizes shock absorbers for a wide range of applications.

Betacom was entrusted with the remote management of Magneti Marelli's production Oracle databases. The client was offered a DBA remote management service with 24/7 availability.
The service included incident management, problem management, and proactive maintenance of the Suspension Systems DataBase infrastructure. During the service start-up activities the systems assessment, the configuration of the database monitoring tool and the definition and implementation of the service delivery operating procedures were performed.
Solutions adopted
The service included the analysis, the startup and implementation of the management service, incident and Patch Management activities, and those of ordinary Oracle Database management activities.
